Horse Health Requirements

In order to protect all our campers' horses, we take our horse health rules seriously. Please be prepared to provide the following:

Proof of a negative current year Coggins test. Coggins tests consists of a blood test and may be obtained through a licensed vet. The yellow copy Coggins test result is REQUIRED for you to unload your horse onto R and R Horse Camp property.
Vaccinations Required: Sleeping Sickness, Tetanus, Influenza . Bring a receipt if you have given shots yourself or a vet letter or bill listing the vaccinations for the horse.
Horse must be 3 or over.
Horse must be in good condition, including recently wormed and hooves properly trimmed.

Camp staff has the option to NOT allow a camper to ride the horse if it isn't healthy, sound or safe.

Safety: Safety is paramount at the R&R Ranch. However, participation in camp and horse activities has inherent risks and injuries sometimes occur. With enrollment, parents acknowledge and accept this and agree to hold harmless the camp, its employees and owners against any claims, damages or injuries.
